Monday
Reader/Writer journals are due in class today for the Sherman Alexie piece "Superman and Me" as work continues on the Secondary Periodic Assessment-Exposition.
Literary terms from the anthology continue in class this week with a test date to be announced.
Holiday break homework includes outlining text online about the life of Shakespeare and the Elizabethan Era; web site will be introduced and sample outlining will be demonstrated.
Catcher in the Rye Chapters Twenty-One to Twenty-Six (thirty talking points) are required on Thursday for class discussion.

Tuesday (Shortened Day)
Literary terms work continues in class.
Catcher in the Rye final examination testing continues in class. Final essay is assigned and will be written over the holiday break and submitted January 10.

Wednesday
Catcher in the Rye final examination testing continues in class.
Literary terms work continues with test scheduled for Thursday.

Thursday
Catcher in the Rye Chapters Twenty-One to Twenty-Six class discussion scheduled for today.
Literary terms test is scheduled for today.

Friday

Holiday break work is discussed and deadlines set, including CITR final essay, outlining of Shakespeare and the Elizabethans and reading assignments from The Tragedy of Julius Caesar.
