Vocabulary Workshop Unit Ten test is scheduled for Monday. Unit Eleven is due on Thursday, March 25, with test scheduled for Friday, March 26.
To Kill A Mockingbird texts will be assigned by end of week in preparation for the upcoming Secondary Periodic Assessment-Literary Analysis. Reading assignments will be scheduled for the first five chapters and talking points to accompany those chapters.
Grammar work continues with Holt Grammar textbooks with homework assigned from English Workshop.
Nonfiction, short story, and poetry genres begin in class anthology.

The California High School Exit Examination is administered this week on Tuesday and Wednesday. Students are encouraged to continue practicing skills in the book that was assigned and taken home.
Holt Grammar lessons in preparation for the CAHSEE continue on Monday.
Antigone Scene Three graphic organizer and multiple choice handout is due on Thursday. Scenes Four and Five are scheduled for later this week.
