All textbooks are due today Monday for return to textbook room. Students should bring Vocabulary Workshop text today and Tuesday for completion of the final mastery examinations.

Periods One and Two: Wednesday
Periods Three and Four: Thursday
Periods Five and Six: Friday
Semester reflection and secondary periodic assessment skills on literary analysis compose the final examination.

The research paper deadline has been extended to Tuesday, June 8; no late papers will be accepted. Use the OWL site at the school library web page to complete your paper. Direct questions to jcarmicl@lausd.net or access e-mail using the school web site.
The final essay for the semester (metaphorical devices in To Kill A Mockingbird) is scheduled to begin June 7 and is available at gomyaccess.com; please use the literary rubric and compose an essay that will be scored a six.
Vocabulary Workshop answers for Units One-Fifteen will be reviewed on Monday in class; students will complete the final mastery test in class on Wednesday. Vocabulary Workshop textbooks are due in class on Thursday and Friday for preparation of the final book test, scheduled for Friday and Monday.
