Planning for the persuasive essay in-class speeches is scheduled for today; index cards for notes are distributed as students work to plan remarks. Logical, ethical, and emotional appeals and a call to action are required for the three-minute delivery.
New literary terms are introduced; test is scheduled for Thursday.
